CALIBRATION SERVICE

Our Calibration service covers a wide range of electronic test equipment from low frequency instruments including Digital Multimeters, Frequency Counters and Oscilloscopes through to high frequency Signal Generators, Power Meters and Spectrum Analysers.

All the following services are included in our calibration charge:

Certificates of Calibration: Supplied with calibrated instruments and in accordance with the manufacturer's published procedures, instructions and the provisions of ISO 10012-1/13S EN 30012-1 (formerly BS 5781 Part 1 1992). The certificate includes pre-calibration status upon receipt by RCL. Before and after results are provided when required.

Engineers Report: The state deviations from specification or faults found upon receipt, the work carried out and any parts or materials used to effect repair.

Safety Check: Each instrument and their accessories are checked to the appropriate section of the relevant standard for portable appliances.

Turn-round: For calibration, the standard turn-round is five working days, but we offer a "Premium Service" where turn-round can be reduced to 48 hours if required.

Repairs: Should they become necessary, a written quotation would be supplied. These detail the faults found and necessary remedial action required for repair, along with the costs that would be incurred. All repairs undertaken have a three-month warranty.
